Does the size of the gap between the roller and the ring die affect the pellet machine?

Does the size of the gap between the roller and the ring die affect the pellet machine? The answer is yes. If the gap between the roller and the ring die is too large or too small, it will have a certain impact on the pellet machine.

When the gap between the roller and the ring die is too large, the material layer in the pelletizing area will thicken, increasing its pressure, increasing the electrode current, increasing the resistance of the roller operation, the roller will slip, the pellet machine will vibrate, the pelletizing output will decrease, and even no pellets will be produced.

When the gap is too small, the roller and the ring die are in direct contact, increasing wear and seriously affecting the service life. The ring die guide port is deformed due to wear, the die hole is difficult to feed, the pelletizing output gradually decreases, resulting in difficulty in pelleting, and even shutdown.
