In recent years, biomass pellets have been very popular. It is claimed that it can replace coal and gas, is clean and pollution-free, and can completely solve environmental problems. Is this true? The raw materials used for biomass pellets are generally divided into two categories, crop straw and forestry waste. The raw materials used for biomass pellets are mainly straw, sawdust, tree branches, soybeans, cotton, corn and other crop straw. Usually, direct burning of straw will cause serious pollution, but when the straw is processed into high-density pellets by a biomass pellet machine and burned in a combustion furnace, it can be fully burned without releasing solid pollutants. The remaining ash from burning is also a very good inorganic fertilizer. The sulfur content in biomass pellets is less than 1/10 of that in coal. Using it to replace coal combustion can indeed effectively reduce the emission of sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere.
