The quality of the ring die installed in the pellet mill is crucial, which directly affects its operating status and service life, and is related to efficiency and cost. Once the installation is eccentric or the force is uneven, the ring die will bear uneven load during operation, resulting in local stress concentration. For example, if the concentricity deviation between the ring die and the pressure roller is large, the extrusion force of the pressure roller will be concentrated on one side of the ring die, causing excessive pressure on that side, which is very easy to deform, wear, and then produce microcracks.
