Hardness and heat treatment process are two key factors that affect the wear of the biomass pellet machine roller shell. If the hardness of the two roller shells is different, the roller shell with lower hardness is more likely to wear. For example, when one roller shell is made of ordinary steel and the other is made of specially treated wear-resistant steel, under the same working conditions, the ordinary steel roller shell will wear much faster. Even for roller shells of the same material, different heat treatment processes during the production process will also lead to different performances. The quenched roller shell usually has higher hardness and better wear resistance. The unquenched biomass pellet machine roller shell is softer and more prone to wear. When the heat treatment of the pressure roller is uniform and its hardness reaches HRC58-62, it has higher strength and wear resistance.
