The biomass pellet mill has loose or unformed discharge during pellet production. The reasons are as follows:
2. The problem of raw material moisture content: Biomass pellet fuel has strict requirements on the moisture content of raw materials. If the moisture content of the raw materials is too high or too low, it will be difficult to form. The best moisture content of raw materials is about 13%-15%. Raw materials with high water content can be conveyed to the dryer for drying through a conveyor. Raw materials with low water content need to be added with an appropriate amount of water and then uniformly mixed before the next step of production.
3. The problem of raw material particle size: The length of raw material particle size is also an important factor affecting pelletizing. Usually the crushed particle size is about 3-4 mm. If the particle size is too large, the pelletizing equipment will not be able to operate normally and effectively, resulting in high energy consumption, low output, uneven pelleting, and cracks on the surface of the finished particles. The smaller the particle size after crushing, the easier it is to form. However, if it is too small, it will not work. The problem of too high powder content will occur, thereby increasing the energy consumption of the crushing process.
