When the biomass pellet machine roller rubs, the hard abrasive pellets on the surface cause local plastic deformation of the roller surface. The abrasive pellets embed and cut the metal surface, causing the surface of the parts to gradually wear out until the carburized layer almost disappears. Not only does the crushed straw act as abrasive particles, but the raw materials also contain large hard material impurities such as iron filings and sand pellets, which bite the rollers and cause pits and scratches on the roller surface. The wear mechanism of the roller is basically the same as that of the inner surface of the ring die, and both have wear marks.
Therefore, in the production process of the biomass pellet machine, it is particularly important to remove iron and sand from the raw materials.
