How many biomass pellets does a one-ton steam boiler burn in one hour? Today JNSHARE will teach you how to calculate how much biomass pellet fuel a one-ton steam boiler needs to burn per hour. The so-called one-ton steam boiler and two-ton steam boiler mean that a boiler that can produce one ton of steam per hour is called a one-ton boiler. It takes 600,000 kcal of heat to produce one ton of steam. It is limited to theoretical data and does not calculate the thermal efficiency of the boiler. Each boiler cannot achieve 100% thermal efficiency, so in actual use, it will burn a little more than the calculated theoretical data.
Take the question of how much fuel a 1-ton straw steam boiler uses in one hour as an example. 1 ton is 600,000 kcal. Assuming that the fuel heat is 4000kca, then a 1-ton biomass pellet steam boiler needs 600,000*1/4000 fuel per hour, which is about 150kg/h.
Biomass pellet fuel
Take a one-ton boiler as an example:
Rice husk pellet example 600,000 kcal ÷ 3500 kcal = 171 kg
Wood pellet example 600,000 kcal ÷ 4000 kcal = 150 kg
Pine pellet example 600,000 kcal ÷ 4500 kcal = 133 kg
