What are the forms of biomass pellet machine press rollers? According to the concave and convex grooves on the surface of the biomass pellet machine press roller, the press roller is divided into a wire drawing roller surface, a groove roller surface, and a tungsten carbide roller surface.
Material and surface of the press roller
The linear speed of the die and roller is basically equal during the production process, and the press roller is generally made of high-carbon alloy steel. In order to press the material into the die hole, there must be a certain friction between the press roller and the material. The press roller is made into a rough surface of different forms to prevent the press roller from slipping. In general, the surface of the press roller has the following types:
① Wire drawing roller surface: It is the most common type at present, with strong anti-slip ability, but the material may slip to one side. If the wire drawing groove is made into a closed type at both ends, this slip can be reduced.
② Roller surface with concave holes: The concave holes are filled with materials, forming a friction surface with a small friction coefficient, and the material is not easy to slip sideways.
③ Grooved roller surface: There are narrow grooves on the roller surface to increase friction. Like the concave roller surface, the material is not easy to slide sideways, so it is generally used more.
④ Tungsten carbide roller surface: The roller surface is embedded with tungsten carbide particles, with a rough surface, hard and wear-resistant. This roller surface is particularly effective for materials with severe wear and high viscosity.
Each roller rotates around its central axis. The central axis is an eccentric axis. The rotating adjustment bolt rotates the eccentric axis, and the rotation center axis of the roller also changes accordingly. This can change the gap between the roller and the die, so that different raw materials or products can obtain the ideal pressing effect.
There are only a few commonly used forms of biomass pellet machine press rolls.
